A Family Affair

Lily and Ava are two sweet members of our ADC Company team. After dancing for a couple of years, Lily auditioned for ADC Company and little sister, Ava, quickly followed in her footsteps. These sisters are three years apart and both share the same love of dance!

We talked to Lily and Ava this week about what it’s like dancing with your sibling and being on the ADC Company team. Take a look at what they had to say:

What’s your favorite thing about dance?

Lily: “Learning new skills”

Ava: “Learning a new combo (dance combination)”

What do you like about dancing with your sister?

Lily: “Dancing and learning together so one day we can be on “World of Dance” like Ellie and Ava!”

Ava: “I love getting to be in the same dances.”

What’s your favorite style of dance?

They both answered, “lyrical!”

What’s your favorite dance you’ve ever done?

Lily: “This year’s lyrical”

Ava: “My jazz dance this year”

On the dance floor and off, these girls are easy to get to know and fun to be around. Not only do we have them dancing with us, but their mom has a talent for making costumes and their dad is one of our designated “Prop Dads.” We like to call our team our “dance family,” and it truly is just that. Moms, siblings, dads, and teachers share a bond through ADC and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
